City Facilities Closed to Public: COVID-19 Shelter in Place

CITY FACILITY CLOSURES - Red text explaining all city facilities are closed to the public to comply

To comply with shelter in place guidelines, all city facilities - including the City Hall front office, baler and landfill - are closed to the public. Essential city services remain fully functional. Customer service by telephone (907.835.4313).

City Council April 7th Regular Meeting

Wildlife Resistant Garbage Collection Program

Effective June 1st, curbside household garbage collection will shift to a new automated system using wildlife resistant containers issued by the city. In fall 2020, the city will also implement a community use dumpster pod program.
