The City of Valdez is soliciting interested vendors for quotes on forthcoming Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment package or packages for the Valdez Fire Station 1 Replacement project.  Quotes will be requested for the following types of items to include but not necessarily limited to below:

  • Office Systems Furniture
  • Case goods
  • Table Types: conference and nesting tables  
  • File Storage Types: lateral file storage cabinets and mobile pedestal file storage
  • Bedroom Furniture: bed frames, mattresses, and under-bed storage
  • Seating Types: benches, task chairs, guest chairs, dining chairs, stools, recliners, sofa, and upholstered seating

Please note: In order to submit a quote the vendor must fill out the Request for Vendors List and Addendum and email it to the Project Manager, Lindy Vititow, at this email Lindy Vititow and copy our Contract Administrator, Wendy Robertson, at this link Wendy Robertson.
 
Note: Only those who are on the “Vendors List” prior to the anticipated bid opening will be sent the specification requirements for the FF&E Bid Package or Packages for this project. Bid packages will further define delivery deadlines, installation instructions, and award information.

Bid Opening Deadline is January 11, 2021 by 3:00 PM (AK Time).

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid and to reject any and all bids without cause.

Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.

Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.

The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City.

The City of Valdez “Standard Specifications and Standard Details” shall be used.
