This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

The City of Valdez (City) is soliciting sealed proposals with Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) and basic cost information from interested general contractors to serve as the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Kelsey Dock Warehouse Renovation and Exterior Upgrades. As an additive alternate, CM/GC services may be extended to include additional storage facility construction and associated site work at the City Building & Parks Maintenance property. This scope is based on funding availability and a determination will be made prior to contract approval.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00 pm local time on February 21, 2019, at the following location inside the Valdez Pioneer Field Airport:

The bids will NOT be publicly opened and read at that time.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid and to reject any and all bids without cause.

Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.

Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.

The City of Valdez “Standard Specifications and Standard Details” shall be used.
