A reissue of this RFP allows for clarification of proposal requirements and expectations. If an artist submitted on the first RFP, they must resubmit to become eligible for consideration.

The City of Valdez Mayor’s Beautification Task Force invites proposals from artists for conceptual images and artwork to be used in the fabrication of street light banners for the Egan Street Beautification project.

Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM local time on February 13, 2017, at the office of the Assistant City Manager - Todd Wegner, 212 Chenega Ave, PO Box 307, Valdez, Alaska 99686. Proposals will be accepted via email, fax, mail, or in person. Fax number: 907-835-2992.  The City’s Project Manager is Laura Langdon;

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.

Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.

Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.
