NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 

VALDEZ RV PARK

 

The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 214 Fairbanks Drive.

 

The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a Conditional Use Permit application for the modification of an approved Conditional Use Permit for a Recreational Vehicle Campground located at 230 East Egan Drive (Parcel A-2, USS 635, Plat 90-12). The applicant and property owner is ACH Properties, LLC – Kathrine and John Spadafora.

 

The applicant wants to modify the original conditional use permit by adding ten additional RV sites north of the entrance to Egan Drive along with an accessory building for storage and bathrooms. 

 

The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments or may submit comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions by email may be sent to: planningdept@valdezak.gov.
