NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SIDE YARD SETBACK VARIANCE
The Valdez Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers at 212 Chenega Ave.
The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning a variance request to allow construction of a roof structure to cover and enclose fuel tanks within the required side yard setback. The subject property is 1223 Coho Place, Lot 12, Block 8, Black Gold #1, Plat 78-3. The applicant and property owner is Douglas Johnson.
The public is encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments or may submit comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Submissions by email may be sent to: email@example.com.
