[ARCHIVED] Community Clean Up Day | Saturday, May 20 | 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Clean-Up Day is a community-wide volunteer initiative to clean up trash uncovered by melting snow before the summer season begins.

The City provides trash bags for pick up at the following locations and times:

  • Recreation Center (414 Hanagita Street): 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
  • Alpine Woods Park: 9 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Robe River Park: 9:45 - 10:15 a.m.

Regular Trash Items
Filled yellow trash bags can be left curbside for pick up. Please do not include any brush or hazardous waste in the yellow bags.

Large Items
Arrangements MUST be made for larger trash items. This service will be available May 20 - 27 only. Please contact Public Works at 835-4473 to schedule pick up.

Hazardous Items
Brush and hazardous materials such as paint, oil, and batteries MUST be dropped off at the Baler Facility during regular business hours.

Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt pamphlets will be available at bag pick-up locations and times. There is no registration required, and it is free to participate. All scavenger hunt participants who turn in their pamphlets will be entered to win prizes! Scavenger Hunt submissions must be turned in with one full trash bag at the Recreation Center no later than 2 p.m.

Free BBQ
All Clean Up Day participants are invited to the free BBQ at the Recreation Center from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. or while supplies last.
