For immediate release: 03/10/23, 12:30 p.m.
Valdez, AK – Valdez Police and Fire Dispatch were notified at 6:18 a.m. on the morning of Friday, March 10, 2023 of an accessory structure fire at a mobile home in the Alderwood Mobile Home Park at 140 Airport Road, Space #45.
Valdez Police and Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene at approximately 6:29 a.m. and discovered an active fire and quickly began extinguishing the fire.
The accessory structure is considered a total loss. The mobile home sustained minor damage to the exterior. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Valdez Fire Department.
