The City of Valdez Mission:
To cultivate an environment of opportunity, sustained prosperity and wellbeing for all people of Valdez.
Economic Development Mission:
To promote an environment of opportunity through the attraction of
new businesses and retention of existing businesses, by providing the resources that enable and advance the wellbeing for all citizens of Valdez.
The department also oversees all community sponsored events, as well as, assisting local non-profits with their events to make them successful.
