Lego My Movie

It's never too early to build literacy skills! Bring your littlest readers to the library on Thursdays for stories, songs, and play. Wiggles welcome!

Snow Much Art

Create beautiful winter-themed crafts at the library! We will be painting wooden snowflakes, building snowmen out of clay, crafting popsicle stick snowman magnets, and playing a few rounds of Pin the Nose on the Snowman!

Preschool Storytime

Friday is our favorite day! Join us for stories, songs, and a take-home craft! PLEASE NOTE: The library closes at 12:30 on December 23, so Preschool Storytime will end promptly at 12:15.

Glitter Mountains Art w/ Faith Revell
December 29 | 3:30 - 5:00  | Ages 5-12

Local artist and curator at the Valdez Museum Faith Revell will be teaching budding artists to create a beautiful glittery mountain scene. This program is for elementary schoolers and registration is required. Click HERE to register. 

Noon Year's Eve

Happy 2023! Ring in the new year at noon with stories, songs, crafts, and a balloon drop! 


Teen Zone: Snowman Painting 
December 20 | 3:30 - 4:30 | Grades 6th-12th

Bring your friends to the library and paint a wooden snowman. Give it as a gift or keep it for yourself! As always, all materials and snacks are provided. 

Teen Zone: Cookie Decorating
December 27 | 3:30 - 4:30 | Grades 6th-12th

Try your hand at decorating sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles. Bring your friends! 

Starry Night Art w/ Faith Revell
December 30 | 3:30 - 5:00 | Grades 6th-12th

Local artist and curator at the Valdez Museum Faith Revell will be teaching teens to create a Van Gogh-inspired Starry Night scene. This program is for middle and high schoolers and registration is required. Click HERE to register. 


Last Wednesday Book Club @ Valdez Brewing

Join us at Valdez Brewing to chat books! Talk about what books you've been reading, a book you read years ago that meant a lot to you, or just listen and get recommendations!
