The Information Technology Department provides leadership and coordination of technology initiatives within the city government.

Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Configure and build the city's internal technology infrastructure
  • Manage the city's internal technology projects
  • Provide the day-to-day technical support for all information systems and applications used by the internal departments
  1. Valdez Unified Command (COVID-19)

  2. City Facilities Closed to Public: COVID-19 Shelter in Place

  3. Wildlife Resistant Garbage Collection Program
